Aravek was a reclusive preserver and member of the Veiled Alliance in Tyr. He spent the majority of his time researching methods to create water. Eventually his research angered Kalak, the sorcerer-king of Tyr. At Kalak’s order, Aravek’s tower at the base of the Ringing Mountains was sacked and the preserver was killed. Legends state Aravek had perfected a device that could draw water from the air itself, although it is unknown if he ever build one.
